#123 Scyther

Scyther is a complex Pokemon to make.  I combined the patterns for multiple projects to create him.  The head of Scyther is made in pieces and then sewn together.  I started making Scyther literally from the ground up.  I started with his legs, then the body, arms, head, and then the wings.  Scyther turned out to be much larger than I originally planned.  I put a chenille stem under the edge stitching of the arm blades and wings.

Worsted Weight Yarn:  Spring Green, Aran, and Gray
