LITTLE PIKACHU WARRIOR PRINCESS

This is a mini version of a request for an Etsy customer.  He asked me to combine Pikachu and a female warrior.  This is an adaptation of my Pikachu pattern turning her into a Warrior Princess.  For this pattern, we need to start by making a Pikachu following my Pikachu pattern.  I am including the color list that Little Pikachu Warrior Princess can be made with either Pikachu and Shiny Pikachu.  Shiny alternatives are only used in Pikachu part of the pattern.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny alternative in parenthesis):  Yellow (gold), red (pink), black, café latte (burnt pumpkin), gray, blue and white.
E crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle

BODY:
Rd 1: With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (21)
Rds 5-6: sc in each sc around.  (21)
Rd 7: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc.  (25)
Rd 8: sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc.  (27)
Rd 9: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (18)

BEGIN STUFFING BODY FIRMLY ADDING SOME EXTRA STUFFING IN CHEEKS.  CONTINUE STUFFING FIRMLY AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rd 11: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 12: (sc in next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (20)
Rd 13: sc in next 5 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) 3 times.  (23)
Rds 14-18: sc in each sc around.  (23)
Rd 19: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 4 times, sc in next 3 sc.  (27)
Rd 20: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (18)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 22, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.  Embroider café latte strips on back of LITTLE PIKACHU WARRIOR PRINCESS.

EYES, CHEEKS, WHITE EYE ACCENTS, NOSE, AND MOUTH:
Using black, embroider EYES on LITTLE PIKACHU WARRIOR PRINCESS.  Using white, embroider small white dots to black EYES.  Using black, embroider NOSE and MOUTH on LITTLE PIKACHU WARRIOR PRINCESS.  Using red, embroider CHEEKS on LITTLE PIKACHU WARRIOR PRINCESS.

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (9)
Rds 3-6: sc in each sc around.  (9)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Stuff ARMS firmly.  Sew ARMS to BODY.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rds 2-5: sc in each sc around.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Stuff LEGS firmly.  Sew LEGS to BODY.

EARS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Rd 3: sc in each sc around.  (6)  Change to yellow.
Rds 4-7: sc in each sc around.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EARS to BODY.

TAIL (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With yellow, ch 7, sc in second ch from and in each ch across.  (6)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (6)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, leaving remaining sc unworked.  (3)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (3)
Rw 6: Ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 sc.  (4)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, leaving remaining sc unworked.  (2)  Change to café latte.
Rws 9-10: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc.  (2)
Rw 11: Ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 sc.  (3)

Rd 13: Ch 1, sc around outer edge of TAIL switching to colors when necessary.
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew TAIL to BODY.

BODY ARMOR UPPER SECTION:
Rw 1: With gray, ch 26, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (25)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (25)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc.  (29)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, ch 5, skip next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 5, skip next 5 sc, sc in next 4 sc.

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew seam closed once ARMOR is done.

BODY ARMOR LOWER SECTION:
Rw 1: Holding foundation chs of BODYARMOR UPPER SECTION and SKIRT together with 2 chs of BODY ARMOR UPPER SECTION unworked and working through both thicknesses, attach gray in next ch, ch 1, sc in same ch as attachment, sc in next 9 ch, (hdc, dc, hdc) in next ch, sc in next 10 ch.  (23)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

CROSS:
LONG BAR:
Rw 1: With gray, ch 9, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (8)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.
SHORT BARS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With gray, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew SHORTS BARS to LONG BAR to form CROSS.  Sew CROSS to BODY ARMOR.

ARM GUARDS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With gray, ch 14, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (13)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap around ARMS and sew ends together.  Weave in ends.

SHOULDER GUARDS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With gray, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch.  (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail.    Using tail, attach SHOULDER GUARDS by creating straps.  Weave in ends.

BELT:
Rw 1: With café latte, ch 26, sc in second ch from hook and in each sc across.  (25)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Using gray, surface slip st around st #13 to create belt buckle.  Wrap BELT around LITTLE PIKACHU WARRIOR PRINCESS and sew send together.  Weave in ends.

SWORD HILT:
Rw 1: With gray, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (4)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; slip st in next 2 sc, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, slip st in next sc.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

SWORD SCABBARD:
Rw 1: With café latte, ch 10, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (9)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (9)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew Rw 1 and 2 together.  Sew SWORD SCABBARD to SWORD HILT.  Sew SWORD SCABBARD to BELT.

FLOWER:
Rw 1: With light blue, (ch 4, slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch) 4 times, slip st in first ch of first petal.
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew FLOWER to LITTLE PIKACHU WARRIOR PRINCESS.
