TENTACLE ALIEN

This is an amigurumi based on a creature that a co-worker found online and asked if I could make one like it.  Of course, I told her I could.  This is the pattern that I came up with.  She said that it was a character from a show but I did not catch which one.  If someone knows, please let me know in the comments section below.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn:  Buff, white, and black.
E crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle
6 chenille stems

BODY:
Rd 1: With buff, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (30)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (36)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (42)
Rd 8: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (48)
Rds 9-30: sc in each sc around.  (48)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

TENTACLES (MAKE 6):
Rd 1: With buff, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
INSERT CHENILLE STEM AND LIGHTLY STUFF TENTACLE AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rds 3-30: sc in each sc around.  (8)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

BOTTOM:
Rd 1: With buff, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (30)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (36)
Rd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (42)
Rd 8: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (48)
Rd 9: [holding next sc on BOTTOM, first sc on BODY, and both layers of flattened TENTACLES, and working through all thicknesses, sc in next 4 sc, sc in next 4 sc of both BOTTOM and BODY) 6 times around stuffing BODY firmly before closing.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

EYE:
Rd 1: With white, ch 10, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 7 ch, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 7 ch, 2 sc in next ch.  (20)
Rd 2: (sc in next 9 sc, 3 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 3: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around.  (30)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EYE to BODY.  Weave in ends.

PUPIL:
Rd 1: With black, 8 sc in magic ring.  (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew PUPIL to EYE.  Using white, embroider white highlight on PUPIL.  Weave in ends.
